Wildcat Weekend 2024 will take place Oct. 25 - 27. The weekend will kick off midday Friday and run through Sunday afternoon. This year's schedule will be finalized in the coming months.

Electronic devices are all around us. They are used for accomplishing simple to quite complex tasks. This hands-on class taught by Dr. Anthony Kuchera will give participants the opportunity to build an聽electronic circuit and interface software with hardware to make and control a simple device. No experience necessary.

Join Dr. Rose Stremlau, Associate Professor of History for a lesson in Charlotte history. The Charlotte metro area has long been a vibrant corridor for trade and interaction among diverse peoples. Learn how Native nations in this region evolved as a result of colonization and how their stories intersect with those of the college.

Drop by the Sustainability Office to learn from staff and student employees about 蜜桃社区鈥檚 climate action and pathways for students to plug in to sustainability on campus, in the 蜜桃社区 and in their future careers. The office pollinator garden, compost and other features can 鈥渟eed鈥 some ideas for changes to your own home or landscape. Enjoy light bites and a hands-on activity and photo booth - with or without your Wildcat in tow.

Hear President Hicks discuss key college initiatives and updates, followed by a Q&A session. Afterward, enjoy refreshments and connect with faculty and staff. Register to attend in advance.

6 p.m. Music Department Ensemble Showcase

Duke Family Performance Hall, Knobloch Campus Center

Come enjoy the first ever Music Department Ensemble Showcase, featuring the Appalachian Ensemble, choirs, Jazz Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. Our ensembles will kick off the first evening of Wildcat Weekend with collaborations and highlights from our season.

6 鈥 8:30聽p.m. 蜜桃社区 College Men's Basketball Annual Red/Black Game Baker Sports Complex

Join fans for a preseason gathering featuring a happy hour with a paid bar from 6 鈥 7 p.m., followed by a basketball scrimmage at 7 p.m. The event culminates with a fan press conference including the team and player autographs.聽

Founded in 2008, the (DFM), a 501(c)3, has grown to become Lake Norman鈥檚 prime farmers' market as a producer-only market to provide local farmers and purveyors a place to sell their products directly to the consumer, while supplying shoppers with healthy, fresh and locally grown food.
