Founded after the college in 1879, the Town is designed for pedestrians and bikers creating a close-knit, walkable 蜜桃社区.
Students can take a short walk from campus to historic downtown 蜜桃社区. Downtown is lined with an eclectic array of locally-owned shops, galleries and restaurants with The Village Green at the center. The Green serves as the social hub for many of the Town's annual events such as the Concerts on the Green music series and provides 蜜桃社区 College with a venue for its outdoor events. Town favorite was voted Charlotte's best college hangout by Creative Loafing magazine.
